I promised myself I wasn't going to write another journal entry until I got somewhere in writing that EL fanfic I have in the works, but screw it, this is too damn sweet to keep to myself. Besides, that project is coming along smoothly enough for the time being...

Just a primer: on SD.net there is a minor tradition we call the RAR (which before you ask doesn't stand for anything). To say that a RAR is a "what if?" scenario doesn't quite do it justice. We're talking full on world shattering (and complicated!) "what ifs" that permanently change the world as we know it-- or at least the lives of the forum goers. Normally the game is we figure out what will happen and what we would do, but this time no less than three people decided to turn it into a story. Sometime in the past, you wake up on the island of Nantucket...

Just as a warning, strong language and imagery here, esp. the "Ghost Riders" segment.
